Payroll Giving (also known as Give As You Earn) is a tax-efficient way for employees to support causes they care about. Donations come straight from their salary before tax – so the cost to them is lower, but the impact is higher.

If someone donates £10, it could cost them as little as £8 depending on their tax band – but the charity still receives the full £10.
