🧡 Helping Kingston When It Matters Most

Celebrating the Clark Fund & Launching the Kingston Giving Catalyst Programme

At Kingston Giving, we believe that small acts of kindness can have a life-changing impact — especially when support arrives at exactly the right moment.

Over the past year, thanks to the generosity of our community, we’ve been able to help families across Kingston afford the essentials when life feels overwhelming. And now, we’re building on that success with the launch of our new Catalyst Grant Programme.

The Clark Fund: A Year of Impact

From June 2024 to July 2025, the Clark Fund awarded:

🤝 66 hardship grants

💷 £12,000 in total funding

📍 Supporting residents across Surbiton, South of the Borough, Kingston & North Kingston, and New & Old Malden

These grants helped families cover everyday essentials such as:

🎒 School uniforms and shoes

🍎 Food and toiletries

🧴 Baby items and household basics

This kind of support may seem small on paper, but when a family is choosing between heating, food, or school clothing, a £200 grant can be the difference between stress and stability.

Neighbourhood Spotlight: New & Old Malden

Thanks to a £3,000 donation from the New & Old Malden Committee via the RBK Neighbourhood Grant, Kingston Giving was able to award 13 hardship grants of £200 to local residents facing immediate financial pressure.

From food insecurity to growing children needing school clothes, this funding ensured that families could access what they needed most — quickly, respectfully, and with choice.
